Patience and endurance grow in the midst of trials that we all experience. Without the Holy Spirit to teach and nudge us to rely on Him for peace, it can be impossible to learn patience at high levels without complaining... even staying joyful through the time spent waiting is possible with God.

After waiting patiently and praying fervently for the Lord's will to be done over the shelter, as always, we reap what we sow. Those who were sowing chaos were no longer able to reap peace and shelter as their time ran out, and they were not interested in pursuing help and work to improve their situations; they reaped more trials and chaos in their life.

Once the Shaman and the rastafarian left, there was a blanket of peace that came over the shelter for me. It seemed like doors were opened up and emotions were uplifted as there were no longer people speaking death into the group. This was like a psychosocial spiritual trial, and I was able to persevere and understand a better discernment of spiritual chaos, and I barely passed the trial to learn that when I am weak and anxious, it can be the Holy Spirit warning me of the atmosphere.

A few of the other believers in the faith and I even started a little bible study, and I continued to go around and encourage people prayerfully to pursue righteousness with the timeless truths of scripture and Proverbs.

It seems as though this was a brief reprieve in the midst of the battle for souls going on. It seemed that after the chaos of a shamanic frenzy, the little seeds of doubt and confusion sown paled in comparison, and I had greater confidence and courage to speak truth into the conversations surrounding me.

Romans 8:28 and 8:38-39 are timeless truths that last through the trial and build us up into Godly mature children.

Rom 8:28  And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose. 

Rom 8:38  For I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, 

Rom 8:39  nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Walking in the Spirit

  One of the best and easiest ways to be obedient and be filled with the Holy Spirit is to simply walk according to the spirit. You may ask yourself well how do I do that? In proverbs 3:5-6 it states not to lean on your own understanding but in ALL your ways acknowledge the Lord and he will make straight your paths.  This first requires us to know who the Lord is and what his commandments are to be fully obedient. I would recommend you start walking in the spirit early on in your walk. The holy spirit is the teacher of men for all holiness.  James 1 states that when we meet trials of various kinds that we should rejoice and ask for wisdom on how to overcome the trial when we are faced with it. This is easily accomplished by asking the Lord what to do. May 20th Wonderful Holy Spirit encounter!

Today was a super blessed day! It started out as a normal day and I had to go in for 4 hours of overtime to pick up a shift for a coworker. I caught an uber to work and evangelized to the driver and had a wonderful conversation. I got to work and encouraged my coworker and had an exploratory conversation with her about her faith. It went well she has a lot of church hurt.  I hoped on a group chat call for this Digital missionary training I'm going through and got some good moments and ideas! Then as I was leaving work I was going to uber home and I got a prompting from the holy spirit to cancel the uber and take the bus downtown and ride the bus home.  I didn't know if it was too late to catch the bus home from the downtown transit area but I've learned to just be obedient when I feel compelled to do something.  I took the bus ride downtown listening to the rest of my meeting call with the digital missionaries and then found myself at the bus terminal. He was despised and rejected by mankind,     a man of suffering, and familiar with pain. Like one from whom people hide their faces     he was despised, and we held him in low esteem. Surely he took up our pain     and bore our suffering, yet we considered him punished by God,     stricken by him, and afflicted.
